Has been 1 year since Miles got the boot. How do you feel about everything that has happened in the wake? All things considered, what has changed for the good and bad?

Edit: For what it's worth, wasn't trying to show support of any coach or decision. Just wanted to ask the question. We got rid of our winningest coach, a necessary move but have seemed to slip and trip with every decision since.

Team doesnt appear to have a want.

No fire.

Oline and Dline look weak but that's nothing new.

I feel the same way now that I did then.

LSU followed the same formula as TN did when firing Fulmer. They got rid of their winningest coach ever without actual plan in place to improve the situation.

I'm still hoping O can turn it around, but realistically don't see it happening.

To me it looks like miles dodged a bullet. This team was gonna have depth and experienced talent issues no matter who the coach was.

Me to ! Ditto! Im glad that bumbling idiot and con artist is gone and never coming back.

Coach contracts are paid to win Conference games, not Non Conference games, check his record, and get over it, MILES IS GONE

I think most could agree it was Miles time to walk away.

I think most could also agree that Orgeron wasn't the answer the fans were looking for in a head coach.

This probably wouldn't end the way you think it does.

Should have been fired in 2015. We could be in year 2 with a coach that most assuredly would be more qualified than O.

Pay attention grasshopper, Miles is gone ( Thank God). That's all this post is about.

I didn't make any assumptions on O or the team. But if you want me to I will, but you wont like the realistic opinion.

Needed to happen.

Louisiana is last in education; that's why you have imbeciles spouting that we should not have fired Miles. They cannot critically or logically think.

"O did not need to be hired" does NOT equate "Miles did not need to be fired."

We need to reboot to a year ago when Alleva decisively--and rightly--pulled the plug on Miles/Cameron after the Auburn game.

Everything after that was an unmitigated disaster.

Firing Miles was a good decision, I can't think of another good decision they've made since.

Biggest mistake right here. This is what set us back. Miles was carried off the field and was given the recognition he deserved. F.King really screwed up here, Alleva was ready to fire him.

We would have landed a better coach.

The facts are that Miles won a lot of conference games. More than most.

Did he need to go, yes. But he didn't get fired for not winning conference games. He got fired for an offense that would never beat one particular conference game.

We then went on to hire a buffoon no one else wanted and gave him a ridiculous buyout.

Miles needed to go. He was kept for one season to long and a bad hire was made. Alleva really screwed this up.
