My issue with the mythical "10-win" milestone is that we play an extra game these days. People seem to forget that.

LSU beat 5 bowl eligible teams, plus a 1-AA who made their playoffs

Notre Dame has beaten 5, 6 if they get USC

Alabama beat 5, their 1-AA isn't going to the playoffs

Oregon has beaten 6, 7 as long as they hang on against OSU.

Seems fairly normal to me

So who can LSU hire that will impress you since Les isn't getting it done?

An offensive coordinator that has the balls to ignore Les when he tries to do what he did against Bama.

The 2 calls that cost us the Bama game were the 54 yd fg attempt at the end of the 1st half with just over a minute to go and Bama settin on 3 timeouts--stupid call considering Alleman had a long on the year of about 10 yards shorter. The second is the 4th and 1 with Ware--good call to go for it but terrible formation. These are on Les.

The fake fg needing 12 yards wasnt great but to me didn't carry the same weight as the other two. Not a Les hater but better decisions have to be made

Gerry fricking Dinardo managed to go 10-2, and had he not hired and stuck with Lou Tepper probably would have done it several other times. (If enough players stayed out of prison).

But only Miles is capable of 10-2 seasons.

Nope. The point being LSU has made Miles just as much as Miles has made LSU. More than a few coaches could manage 10 wins at LSU given LSU's talent base and facilities.

I'm not saying Miles needs to go anywhere, just that the people acting like he is above criticism and is the second coming of Vince Lombardi are a little nuts.

More than a few coaches? Really? Texas has better recruits year in and year out and still can't sustain our success , Alabama had half a decade of utter shite with a school that has recruited for itself since Bear Bryant was laid to rest. Florida is the same way and they still manage to lose 6 games last year, USC is another. I'm not saying Les is the greatest but to say he isn't a top 5 coach is just as dumb as saying "more than a few " could do what he's done in 8 years. We have the best available coach in the game today.

Another one.

You guys are dumb. If we arent 10-2 the bama game doesnt matter. Yall wouldnt be saying he cost us a title. He has brought us to the point where dumbass fans have way too high expectations. So who is responsible for getting us to the ship last year? We dont win the sec, we werent going to the bcscg. You dumb asses should be thanking the guy for putting us in the spot to begin with.

Saban only managed 1 season with < 3 losses while in baton rouge. Miles has done it 6 times going on 7. That kinda consistency is rare. Seen only recently in 1990s fsu and Texas and ou in 2000s.

Ok, here's my position
Some want Les fired and Saban, or Stoopes, or ???? hired. NOT ME
Some think everything Les does is great and we should be content with whatever the outcome might be, regardless of what could have been with different decisions. NOT ME

I love that Les is a nice guy.
I love that Les recruits well.
I love that Les stands up for his players and doesn't throw them under the bus like someone else does.

But can we agree that there could be improvement in some areas like game planning and on field adjustments and decision making?
That's all I want! A desire and plan to continue to make better schemes and decisions that will ultimately lead to more victories. How many more? IDK but all we needed this year was one more and we would be playing next week for a chance at the crystal.

Anyone else on this wagon?

We are waiting for your answer ?

Nick Saban, Mark Richt, Will Muschamp...hahahaha.

Brian Kelly, Stanford's coach (I don't even know his name) and Gene Chizik.

I'm sorry...I'm pretty drunk. But did you just compare Dumbardo to Les Miles? Unfreakingbelievable.
