I sat in a suite with him for the 2008 UGA game (Jarrett Lee pick 6 extravaganza) and he finished a 5th of Grey Goose before halftime and didn't even seem buzzed. Super nice guy, chatted with me the entire game. He also looked pretty heavy (as in chunky). I wonder if that was during a period he wasn't training due to injury.

But, he was a truly nice guy and was excited to take pictures with everyone that asked.

Met him in St. Pete at an alumni association event before the Outback Bowl. Infinitely patient, incredibly nice man with a beautiful wife and family. He let anyone and everyone hold his Super Bowl and BCSNC rings and take pictures. Pretty goddamn cool:

I can't wait for Dwayne Bowe's autobiography "How I was Racially Profiled in Kansas City: I was minding my own business and doing nothing illegal".

I loved watching Clayton play at LSU. I remember him being fearless across the middle of the field.

The manicured nails didn't give it away?

If that's the case, her hands are kind of manly.

they need to get him on sec network

I saw him on the Big 10 Network as a guest commentator for their nat'l coverage show "Big 10 & Beyond". He acquitted himself quite well. Maybe the SEC Network wants him as a panelist for pre-game & halftime shows?

What is so compelling about his story to warrant a book? There have been thousands with very similar perspectives. What makes his especially worthy of a book? Sure, some LSU fans will buy it to support him, and I wish him well, but wonder who his primary target is, and the basis for the estimation of demand for a book.

Ask the people that knew him at CLA in high school. He loves attention.

During his rookie season, I picked him up for my fantasy team. Had him, Diamond-Dick Davis, and Jake Delhomme on my team. Won the league that year. True story.

Isn't his wife a doctor? Doubt he needs any money but he probably wants attention and a higher profile to get into broadcasting.

As I said earlier it is probably about his struggles and how he went from being a big star in high school to an even bigger star in college and then the pitfalls and reality of professional sports.
