Lots of little things to like about Mettenberger's mechanics. One thing that stands out is the nose of the ball is down on all of his short to intermediate routes. This is big. This makes those passes less likely to sail into coverage and less likely to be tipped into the air. Manning is the best in the biz at this.

I think so.
I have really high hopes for him.
I imagine his primary competition would be Tyler Wilson, Aaron Murray and Lattimore (if he's healthy).
He may not have a chance to put up the numbers that Wilson will, but Wilson is losing a lot of his WR corp as well, so who knows?

I think he'll be good, just not OPOY good. Maybe I'm just being cautious b/c the rest of our roster is ridiculous.
