What will be the reason he didn't see the field over JJ and Lee?

Dude you already know the answer to that question. LM is loyal to a fault. Say what you want but for whatever reason JJ earned LM's trust early in his career. Then I think he kept giving LM just enough of a reason to keep playing him (example coming in the Bama game and basically winning it for us). No way it was his overall play. I think LM just really had faith in JJ so he stayed with him.

Why was he sitting on the bench?

I'm guessing he wanted his seniors to finish the season.

Which sucks.

I thought he was pretty clearly the best QB on our roster after the spring game (yes, I realize it's the spring game).

his arm mechanics are very good. his TD pass in the western kentucky game was more proof of this. he will light it up if miles gives the green light to stud. instead of 77% rushing this year how about 50/50 balance this year?

i think we will see mett was the best this past year once he plays this year. he did not play due to JJ being a senior.

I am so pumped to have a single, pro style, drop back QB. You know the wr's have to be excited, really the whole offense in general has to love it.

Arm strength is great for about 20% of the passes in a game. The good quarterbacks have a good touch to be able lob it over a defender. They can also anticipate the recivers position on the field and get it there. JJ could never get to that point as a QB.

IDK. I saw a similar video of JL during his recruitment doing similar stuff. How'd that turn out? I still have reservations about Mett because he could not beat out JL and JJ this past year. I'll reserve my excitement for Mett until I see the same trows against a decent defense.

It has been a while since LSU has had a pocket passer. With the O-line and RB's coming back, we had better use this guy like we are supposed to, and not just have him hand off. I'm tired of Miles being bull headed with his strategy to run all the time.

You can bet your sweet arse that Miles will try to insert Randall in there because of his "feet", which will screw up the continuity and timing between Mett and the WR's. Book it. This will happen.
