How about a Tiger for Tiger for swap?

quote:

How does TOM III get to University events?
TOM III travels in a climate-controlled, soundproof trailer,

May have been a wise investment for Mike bUT seeing as he's already ruined, it's probably a waste of money to spend $40,000 on a trailer he won't get in.

quote:

How do you get TOM III into his travel trailer?
TOM III enters his trailer of his own free will, something he would not do if it was an unpleasant experience for him. We have no mechanism to make him do anything he does not want to do. Hopefully there will never be a day where TOM III decides he doesn't want to travel to see his fans, but if that day comes, he will stay at home.

Moving him to the game may contribute to man-made global warming. And we can't have that.

sad that memphis has a better staff for their tiger than we do. We do need a new trailer, and a new staff.

Memphis also has handlers who will load their tiger.

I'm sure it's been posted around here before but I just read it and was unaware. Memphis' Tom II and Mike V were from the same litter.

you misread that, mike V was fine. Its VI that is the problem along with his SJW staff.

Also fricking embarrassing that memphis has a better trailer than ours.

The early to mid 90s Mike (Mike IV) was bad arse. He would roar and get all pissed off. This Mike is lazy AF.

A Tiger is a Tiger. I'm going to say it's not the tiger that's the problem here. It's the people that changed. It's consistent with the rest of the pussy patterns surrounding them.

Are you listening, LSU Vet School and Mike's staff??

Is this a viable option for Mike VI?? If LSU can raise $2MM for Mike's habitat, then I'll bet LSU can raise funds for the trailer !!!! I'll bet Mike can be trained to enter that trailer !!! I have read that the game day noise is a problem for Mike, so this might work for him !!!

It's about exploring the options. It is an LSU tradition and we LOVE our TRADiTIONS !!!!

I don't see why a new badass trailer isn't an option. The TAF is made of money and there is no way memphis can afford things we can't

The reason behind Mike's actions back then (banging on his cage, aggitating him) are part of the situation we have now. Many critic's claim(ed) that was mistreatment of Mike. So here is where we are today - Mike acting only on his own free will because he has a problem with the environment on game days.

And many people would much rather see him in his habitat and many more people can enjoy him in that setting on game days.

There is always a trade off in these situations. I'm just happy to see him whenever I can. He is a great symbol of our university.

Soundproof cage is dumb. The visitors won't be able to hear him roar when we use the cattle prod.

Also a new tiger would be cheaper than a new cage. This Tiger is a prima donna and not getting the job done.

The Memphis site says they spent $40,000 for Tom's trailer. It may be an option to consider for Mike VII but its probably too late for a soundproof trailer to be a difference maker for Mike VI. He doesn't like going in the trailer and into the stadium. Its not like he'll know its soundproof.

I think the whole projecting human emotions onto Animals in general these days is at the root cause of all this. It's weird. I seriously believe that if it were up to many they would make a big cuddle bunny out of Mike, blowing on this belly and tickling him.

It's a Tiger, not a puddy cat. I'm just sorry for the thousands of kids who will not get to enjoy seeing Mike on the sidelines during the games like we did our whole lives. And why is that? Because the people have become huge puddy cats themselves. Just one more weird arse thing going on in the humans these days. It fits. Sad, but it fits.

Here's another it'd bit for you to chew on. You're about 4 to 5 good days away from chawing down on another man's liver.

Oh, and chickens and cows have bones and fish have heads on them.

Besides the rather obvious fact that the cattle prod is why we have a problem today.....ever heard of microphones in the sound proof cage that send sound throughout the stadium....????
