The #LSU Athletic Hall of Fame has unanimously approved a proposal for a Pete Maravich statue on campus. Details forthcoming on plans/design

Hopefully they put it out front for everybody to see and not hidden on the side like Shaqs. And I know Shaqs is over there for the practice facility but still it goes unseen by most fans entering the PMAC

I was just telling my wife, Ive never even seen the Shaq statue and I go to games every year in all 3 big sports. That is crazy

Great - a statue of a white basketball player. Before its even finished it'll be deemed racist and torn down.

Pete should have one, as should Petit and Sparky Wade if they don't already, and all should be out front of the basketball arena.
Some of you might know others but these should certainly have statues.

Yeah they really should put them Ina more prominent place if they are going to build a statue. You have to go out of your way to see the shaq one.
