How many ranked teams did that 2013 FSU team beat in the regular season?

Their team was like ours in 2011 except the did it with a legit offense.

outside of the 34-31 championship game and the 14 point win over Boston College, they beat every other team by at least 27 points.

my god man listen to yourself. Line up our 2011 schedule next to their 2013 schedule and tell me what you see. Y'all are something else

"his FSU teams have never been dominant,"

yeppers, when the 2013 team went 14-0 and beat Auburn in the title game, I am still pretty hacked FSU was not ahead at half time. That was a fundamental flaw I will never get over.

Shhhh....right now he walks on water. See...when its someone else the cult following fans seem to ignore all the close games against far inferior teams.

You are spot on...

In the final poll it was 2. LSU has beaten UF and MSU this season for 2 also.

The 2011 schedule was insane. The stars had to align just right to get that many ranked teams on our schedule.

Saban had to suck a lot of dick to get ESPN to allow him to spend about 8 hours on the air the day before the season-ending rankings were announced, begging for the mulligan bowl.

It was possibly the best season ever, overall.

Auburn should have been a 3-4 loss team out of the sec. Literally one of the luckiest teams ever and very highly overrated.

The account was a joke that year....even more than usual and fla st had far superior talent.

Look st last year...again fla st goes undefeated despite winning many close games against inferior comp. Then they go lose a close one to Oregon...by 39....lol

Florida State beat #3 Clemson and #7 Miami by a combined score of 92-28. You were harping on the one playoff loss, so tell me what's wrong with this little bit of info. I know you'll find something.

Cook the All American running back fumbled if I remember right 3 times and Winston turned it over a couple. Actually at halftime I was sure FSU would win that Oregon game.

I wouldn't buy the idea that Oregon was all that much better than FSU, although they were a good team. Marriotta is smart quarterback who doesn't turn it over very often.

If Auburn was so run of the mill then there is no explanation for beating bama in the finale. Everybody knows it takes a superhuman effort to stop the tide.

It probably was until the event of which we shall not speak its name.

If they're going to dump Miles, they absolutely make a big name hire with a skin or two on the wall . . . for several reasons. Fisher's the most likely guy. I don't know for sure how he'll do at LSU, but I'm pretty sure he won't totally frick it up.

Saban didn't have to do anything but show up. He was invited.

One of Miles shitty teams that people want him fired for beat this same team by double digits.

Credit Miles and the team for that. That was early in the season though and Auburn got better as the year went on. FSU beat them in the title game with everything on the line. If you want to play that game though, what did FSU do against Florida? They beat them 37-7. We beat them 17-6.

Jimbeaux running the O and Coach O running the D is a winning formula, and let Jim get a real special teams guy in here and we can win it all next year.

Jim is a great recruiter, proven talent, a former LSU guy and is the most natural fit that I can think of since he runs a dynamic, but not just big12 offense.

How fun would it be to see his offense for a change. VERY FUN! I'll pay for fun.

Miami finished the season unranked

It took a kick off return for a TD and a miracle comeback for that dominant FSU team to beat the hands down shittiest SEC national champ representative ever. A team LSU beat handily in the same season

You are correct. I was unclear in what I meant. Once he was on the air is when he was getting his mouth properly stretched.

You can take a look at pretty much any undefeated season that the NCAACFB has had and point to one or two close games.

Let's take everyone's God, Nick Saban, for example.

Despite the myth everyone has bought here that Saban is unbeatable, he has only ONE undefeated season, 2009.

In that season, he had some "help" to beat Tennessee on a blocked FG at the end of regulation (that should have been penalized giving UT another kick), some "help" to finish off an LSU team AT HOME that was playing their second string QB and RB for the majority of the game, and there was one more but I can't remember which.

Point being, dominating a schedule is hard to do today for anyone.
