The Harvard guy will compete for a starting position and likely get one. Doubt he would be coming here if him or coach O thought otherwise.

Who do you think the Harvard guy starts over?

I think it’s just a depth signing tbh. He may be that 6th OL that backs up every guard and tackle

Shanahan

watching his highlights and I could see where he could compete for a starting spot, perhaps at center. Appears to play with a mean streak, moves well and doesn't look stiff so I think he could play center. Looks a little more fluid than Hines. Would have to pick up the position pretty quickly though and without a spring camp. Anyway, I don't think the staff signs him if they don't think he can make a real push for a starting position.

Shanahan gets Shelvin rice

We aren’t rolling out a 270 lbs Ol.

Its been reported that he's 310lb now.

I think our best hope is Shanahan is good enough to play RT and push Deculus to RG.

Interesting to see so many have zero doubt Rosenthal is the guy at LT

I mean as long as he's not suspended, he's the starting LT no doubt. The only question surrounding him is can he stay out of trouble. Coaches rave about him, and have stuck with him despite his issues, shows you what they think about his potential.

LT = Thomas

LG = Bradford

C = Hines

RG = Ingram

RT = reDeculus

Rosenthal will rotate in, but I don't think he will never be ready in time.

I find it funny that y’all think Shanahan is 270. That dude is playing ball at 300 lbs

Not based on what I've seen

That might be true, but Thomas is a guard.

First off Thomas is nowhere close to a LT.

Second off...

Coach O basically just said he's back when team activities start back up, that he worked through his issues off field by now. He's our starting LT no doubt.

I tend to agree

Can Ingram kick to LT and Bradford to RG?

Then you should know Thomas isn't a left tackle
