UF was bad and had 5 losses. Urban Meyer is obviously a bad coach. Plus, he let Miles beat him half the games they played.
Mack Brown also sucks for not making a bowl game just a year after being in the national title.
Sabah is terrible too. He lost to UL-directional and lost 3 games last year with 4 1st round draft picks.

Hopefully Krag is a big improvement over Crowton

He has to be. If he is even a little competent and is able to field an SEC caliber offense, LSU has a great shot this year.

Les def should get blame for that UNC game, mostly for pulling starters when we didn't have the game in hand

this. although we were up 30 - 10 at half. I still think he should've waited til atleast the 3rd qtr was over

Dude i see your point. The problem is how blind you are to mine. We won some lucky arse games last year. If you don't remember the board meltdown last year calling for Miles' head than sorry. I just don't get over it because he called a gutsy fake punt against UF.

OHHH GOD THE MAN IS A GENIUS!

Exactly. You shouldn't judge a coach based on W/L records from a single year.

Thanks for making our point.

Like I said on page before...his game management has been a problem since he has been here.

A mediocre gameday coach that needs to be surrounded by excellent assistants.

He had a shitty assistant and poor QB last year and still managed 11 wins and a bowl game blowout

So we stop at the fact he won? We don't look at how he got there at all?

And you don't think by some immovable force Miles got lucky out his arse in the Tenn/Florida game? The point I'm making is if you keep playing with fire, it will burn you. Just like it did the previous 2 seasons before last. We were a 5 and 4 loss team the previous 2 seasons. Again, we lost Ole Miss in typical clusterfrick fashion. It just so happened some mysterious force happened last year that allowed LSU to win Tenn/Florida...

The only time Miles has ever showed any decency in game situations is when he has extended period of time to put a gameplan together. This is just the type of coach he is and nothing will ever change it. Who knows, maybe we'll get that crazy luck this year because you're going to need it when he is managing game situations...

Yea and his brain freezes have cost us several games too. And yes, before you say it, every coach screws up at some time. But it is how Miles does it...

Most of the time it is basics that a HS coach wouldn't even make mistakes with.

This. And his trends have come deadly close to losing us several more games...

Those trends will catch you eventually. They definitely caught up in 2008-2009.

A genius the man is not. A top 10 BCS football coach he is. After the Tenn game, he got ripped and deserved it. You can be critical but at some point, credit must be given when due.
