whoever decided on a mass sub at that moment should have been fired immediately

I walked out after that win more pissed off than a loss. After watching it last night I don't understand how anyone can be high on Jefferson or Miles.

Why put in a cold Jefferson after Lee led you down the field? Jefferson in there allowed them to forget the pass and stop the run which they did. Before that, why did you allow a 5 yard penalty on 4th and 9 when you had a timeout? Yet instead you call it after the penalty. Nobody on the sideline saw the clock till it hit 0. Why does your QB not know how to spike the ball??

Yeah, it's sooooooooooo hard to be high on a record such as:

5-1 in bowl games over the past 6 years and 2-0 in BCS bowls, 28-1 in OOC games, won at least 11 games four times, ranked in the Top 8 four times, ranked in the Top 5 in winning percentage among BCS schools, and won a NC.

It's more than a little amsusing/telling when some can't be pleased by the best coaching results ever at LSU, but each to our own.

I forgot about the int in the endzone on the series prior to that. I still can't believe they attempted that pass with Ridley and not Toliver or Randle.

I had forgotten how pissed I was at the game because of all the shite that happened after, but remembered last night.

I still cannot believe we tried a QB change with 30 seconds left after Lee led us down the field.

What was Crowton thinking??

"Lee is doing great, he has led a great drive. Ok, only 30 seconds left...MASS SUBSTITUTION! Put in Jefferson, Lee run off, head out there receivers, make sure tight ends get off the field, look for an open WR Jordan, run it in if its not there oh shite there are 10 seconds left now, ummm....nevermind spike it!"

Crowton most definitely fricked that ending up, but also the mass confusion gave us the one un-timed play to win.

I won't miss him at all but that was the one time a complete clusterfrick actually won the game for us.

You mean another game that he started that he gets credit for winning (even though Lee bailed him out...AGAIN)?

Not only did the stormin mormon try a package sub with under 15 seconds to go and a running clock, but he forgot to send in a play.

There was no play on the field. T-Bob snapped it a few seconds left and Jefferson, I guess, was just going to try and run it in.

Crowton's situational play calling (or just really recognizing the situation in general) was atrocious. We saw this time and time again under his offense. It's like he would script out the entire game and would never look up to see what was actually going on on the field.

How do you have a delay of game on 4th down with game on the line?

ETA and THEN call a timeout after.

it's incredible how bad Miles can be at clock mgt. This game was painful to watch
