I know we all miss the Kingfish terribly...

Doesn't Kentucky have ice hockey? I searched ukathletics.com and didn't see it.

I have lived in Ann Arbor (where they play an excellent brand of college hockey) and New York (where they play lots of NHL hockey, occasionally competently). I can say with some authority that no chunk of ice has any business being bigger than will fit into a glass of bourbon.

Kentucky plays ice hockey as a club sport; I don't know if they still do this but a few years ago they would scheduled their home games for midnight as a novelty to get students to attend.

Criag Steltz would probably be pretty salty as well. I could see he and Laron Landry out there skating without a stick clearing a pathway

LSU does have an ice hockey team..but it's nothing offical. They play the in state colleges, just for recreational purposes. Just last year, threy played UL Lafayette at the Hockey Plex in Carencro...LSU 4 UL 1

Supposibly incoming freshman Kevin Leger (forward) is going to be a key contributer to the team. I look forward to seeing him on the ice
