yes, offense isn't going to be doing the defense any favors with unimaginative and predictable play calls and general overall rustiness. Defense could have used a tuneup game as well.

A college team usually improves the most between their 1st and 2nd game. Disadvantage LSU. State 27-20

Lsu is likely 0-2 after the Auburn game. If they would have played the McNeese game I believe we would have won against Miss St and had a good shot at beating Auburn. Would most likely have been 3-0.
