And therein lies the rub. It's about money, and Alleva and the brass couldn't give a rat's arse about LSU fans. They are entirely about money. The only way to stop these shitty neutral site games is for season ticket holders to stop buying tickets to home games and making sure others don't buy them, plus minimal LSU fan attendance at these shitty neutral site games. In the end, it ain't happening, and unfortunately, college football is no longer about the school and the fans, but all about $$$$$$.

WELL SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am to the point I would rather stay home instead of feeding the cow...........

Can't please everyone. We schedule good non conference games and bitch because it's neutral site. Only way to make people happy is schedule home and homes with likes of Ohio State, USC, Oklahoma and still we'd get people bitching because we would have scheduled the 1st game of the series on the road.

How many other SEC teams regularly start the season at a neutral site?

I really don't know.

BamaHater...I see you're in Houston. Just curious...are you a LSU season ticket holder?

Most of the people who complain about fans leaving early and/or those who don't mind constant neutral site games aren't season ticket holders.

I've been a season ticket holder for many years, attend neutral games, and have been to 15+ bowl games. I don't think it's unreasonable to ask the school you support to play a meaningful OOC game in our OWN 100,000+ seat stadium.

Maybe we should significantly increase the ticket price for neutral site games so we can reduce the remaining OOC prices for season ticket holders.

Such a false dichotomy.

Nice 10-year reunion for me in Dallas. That will be a blast. There is enough time for Miami to be a competitive team too.

KNOW YOUR ROLL

Dinner roll?

Sushi roll?

Egg roll?

Cinnamon roll?

Spring roll?

Kaiser roll?

Tootsie roll?

I know my rolls. You, however, don't know the difference between roll and role.

So we season ticket holders give up our tickets and then TAF gets control of them and corporations get them. That's not making a statement.

What would make a statement is not donating to LSU, not donating to TAF (except for the forced ticket donations), not buying concessions, not paying for parking...

Don't look now, but LSU is not the only institution doing this. All the matters is the bottom line.

I love how all the tards want to play FSU, Ucla, USC and Notre Dame every year yet when we finish 9-3 complain that the schedule was too difficult because the SECw is a gauntlet itself

I'm a season ticket holder...in Houston.

And I don't mind neutral site games. You're not going to get big programs to do a home & home at Tiger Stadium anymore. Who ws the last to do i? Va Tech?

And LSU has been better then the rest of the SEC in trying to schedule home & homes over the past decade. Arizona, ASU, Washington, Va Tech, West Virginia, etc...

The reality is money rules all, and a neutral site game against a power 5 opponent is more profitable than playing & PAYING Tulane at Tiger Stadium. And our attendance "issues" only confirm that for the administration. These neutral site games have nad no problem selling and they are not stopping anytime soon.

If that's the case, then go ahead and play all four OOC games at neutral sites. I'm tired of paying for crap.

Selling the neutral games hasn't yet been a problem but it will soon have an effect on season ticket holders.
