I posed a similar query on 6/20/16: What color jersey will LSU wear vs Wisconsin, as the road team, and was downvoted by a record 103-0 margin!

I'm nearly 100% certain OSU was able to choose game color back in 2004 and they chose white because they saw it as an advantage to force LSU to wear purple at home when they usually did not like to and because their stupid unis were all black.

LSU fans realize that LSU wears white unless it is a weak non-conference game that isn't the home opener. This happens literally 95% of the time. We will be wearing white jerseys and Wisconsin will be wearing red.

wasn't a home game technically and Spurrier had already chosen the uniforms for that game. We were going to wear purple jerseys if that game was in Columbia

Not only that, but we wore our fancy purple unis for that game...not the typical non conference purples.

UW will be wearing red, though I like the all whites better.
Since LSU wears white at home, do they ever wear purple? I know I've seen them wear it in games, but you'd think it would be rare...assuming the teams they play wear their primary color at home (so LSU would also be in white on the road).
