Dear Delusional Fool,

There is no rule that you have to win your conference. Although I didn't like them getting in the NC game, I have enough sense to STFU about the bitching since they skull fricked us 21-0.

Yes so you are in agreement that you don't have to win you conference championship, or even your own freaking DIVISION, to go to the big game? You people bitch and moan on here about not wanting a playoff because it makes the regular season "meaningless". Yet when the BCS and AP just set a precedent that the regular season obviously does not matter, you fricking agree with it!

Sure they beat our arse fair and square, but they shouldn't have even been allowed to. Stop taking it in the arse and stick up for what is right.

2011 was a year that no one deserved to play LSU for the NC. Of course that's not the way it works so an opponent had to be conjured up, and Espn wanted Bama. Okie was more deserving; Bama the better team. Just bad luck for LSU that the one team capable of beating LSU got two chances to do it. Bama should have an asterisk by it for 2011 but what difference would it make anyway.

Nick Saban probably lost no more than one night's sleep following his team's loss in Tuscaloosa before figuring out how to handle LSU should he get a second chance: Contain a mobile quarterback with marginal passing skills and keep the defense on the field for much of the night. Then, it was simply a matter of enlisting the champion-maker corporate machine to bulldoze a rematch agenda. Game over.

Only disagreement I have with the article is the comment that LSU was expected to dominate in 2012. With a 1st year starting QB that's very difficult. Now that Mett has a year under his belt I think it's his time to shine and LSU will be a much better team in 2013 even w all the defections to NFL. The offense will be the rock of this team and that's a good thing. Chavis will work his magic and get the defense to compete week in and week out. Looking forward to 2013! Another exciting season in the mix for the Tigers. One game at a time! Geaux Tigers!!!!!

Nope anyway you slice it they should have never had a chance to go in the first place. What is the Conference Championship if not a game to congratulate you on traversing your schedule the best and then by winning it(championship game), giving you a chance for an even better game(national championship game)

Can you actually say with a straight face that the 21-0 arse beating we recieved from Bama did not mean they were the better team that year?
Great we beat em 9-6, but no need to mention the 20 field goals their kicker missed (that would be just crazy talk and irrelevant).

They lost in regular season at their house meaning they should have no way in hell been allowed to play us again. You basically agree that the regular season means nothing because you can have a do over. You people don't understand that this was not OOC, nor was it another division. We were in the same division and we beat them head to head at their house. That should be end of discussion.

College football is not the NFL If you lose in regular season to somebody, you shouldn't have a second chance against them end of story. Think about it this way though, if they really wanted the best teams, why not Texas A&M? You know the Manziel show, the team that beat them already. Everybody and their mama knew that Notre Dame was a farce that benefited from a weak schedule. They had already proven that no matter the record head to head, the two best teams in the country should play each other.

Actually, he was implying that is what some people are thinking, but they would be wrong. He went on to say that LSU should never be underestimated, and he wouldn't be surprised if LSU ran the table. Overall, he was very complimentary of LSU.

Agreed!!!

While the world focuses on the Alabama vs Texas A&M game

It's amazing how dumb the sports "world" is, that being mostly ESPN.
Bama plays A&M in September (by design) while they're breaking in two new OTs. This game will be over by the end of the first quarter.
Also A&M will have 3 losses before they play LSU.

They were expected untill our offensive line was almost decimated by injuries.

Add in losing our starting RB and the other injuries and you see how dominate this team could have been if not for the freak year with the injuries.

Please let this be so. Please let the Alabama coaching staff and players overlook LSU, see LSU as a sure win, not take us seriously, prepare for us half-heartedly, not get up for the game and go in with an attitude LSU is "an after-thought."

I agree. I'm not sure Zach is what we hoped, nor will be, but I think he's competent enough. The OL injuries lessened an NC calibre team into something slightly less. We played UA as well as A&M and UGA but the UF and AU games showed we had a big OL issue.

I have a difficult time believing this.

Also, Who do you have TAMU losing to?

Since when has missed FGs been relevant?

Meaning if their kicker was worth any shite whatsoever, they would have won instead of losing 9-6.
