IN fact none of the final 4 teams run that type of offense.

Bama and FSU run a prostyle offense just like LSU.
There is nothing wrong with the scheme we run, if we have a decent qb. Its been proven over the span of a decade. As far as Bama's offense goes, Kiffen simplified the playbook. Bama Still runs out of the i formation just like lsu.

Kiffen installed a completely new system at Alabama this year, which resulted in one of the top ranked offenses in the country.

He had a senior QB. I can point to Cam last year and say the exact same thing.

FSU and Bama run modern NFL style offenses while LSU is running the 'pro style', a offense that was popular with NFL teams in the 70's but is currently out of favor by NFL teams.

You have no idea what the frick youre talking about.Cam Cameron's offense isn't outdated.
Also, for the 10,000th time, no cfb program runs some huge elaborate and ground breaking offense. The coaches and players dont have enough practice time(20hrs) to implement a complex offensive scheme. Auburn runs the same play 75% of the time, but they execute well . That's what college offenses are about, execution. If executed right , a qb draw can go for a 50 yards td.

exactly, we just need to run a scheme that utilizes some of the things other college programs do. Sort of like we did against Texas A&M, but add in some passing game.

Agreed but i was responding to your claim that the pro style we run is outdated.its not. It just needs an efficient qb for it to be successful. You also have to take into account that when Miles has a green qb, he doesnt take as many chances.

Lsu's offense is nothing close to bama and Florida st. We have no diversity or creativity in the offense. We stay in the I formation and run into stacked boxes, if we throw out of it it's one man routes or go shotgun if it's 3rd and long. No single back no pistol. Nothing that keeps defenses on their heels. We run a shite offense that has no advantage for our playmakers.

Again, no cfb program runs a complex and innovative offense.not one. The coaches dont have enough practice time for a complex offense.

Bama runs out of the i formation too its just offset i formation. Lsu rarely runs a 1 man route. Stop regurgitating what some dumbass on the rant says.

You have no idea what the frick youre talking about. We just had a rb set the sec single season yards per carry record and 2 1000 yard receivers. Its like you dont remember last season.

I Renember last season. We finished middle of the pack in the Sec in offense. With the talent we pull in at skill positions we should be better than that. We had 2 1,000 yards receivers and how many catches and yards did our next highest receiver have? We were basic last year as well but got away with it cause we had 4 nfl starters on offense.

For the 1000000000th time, lsu doesnt run hurry Up offense so our totals will always be low. Yards and points per play are far better at measuring an offenses succes.
last year lsu was 12th in the country in yards per play and 9th in the country points per play.BUT we were 105th in plays ran so our totals will be low.

other than Texas A&M, what teams in the SEC do run Hurry up offenses? People know that college teams can't be as diverse as pro teams but we can be as diverse as every other college team in college football. What we run is retarded.

bamas offense is light years ahead of LSU's when it comes to play calling and creativity. Their was no reason at all to wait until the last game of the season before trying to run some semblance of a college/NFL style offense instead of a pee wee league offense.

that's laughable. Bama's and FSU's offenses are light years ahead of LSU's, as is Oregon and Ohio St's. They know what to do with their talent. We seem not to have a clue. Although a light, however dim, did seem to come on for Cam in the last game. If we had been running a true offense the whole season, by the final game we might have had a pretty dam good offense. Hard to suddenly just click it on and expect it to work smoothly when you wait until the last game. By then the rest of the teams are running on all cylinders while we are just warming up the engine. Goes for the passing game as well. No wonder they look like they don't have a clue in the passing game. Jennings looks lost, the recievers can't catch or run proper routes. They look like they are not on the same page.

Wow. We just had a rb with the 2nd greatest season in lsu history and TWO 1000 yard receivers. BUT dont let facts get in the way of you looking ignorant.

Youre stupid. Bama and fsu and lsu run a pro style offense. Sorry you dont know this.the difference between bama , fsu and lsu is lsu doesnt have a good qb.

those are fine individual stats but even with all those great players with great stats we still finished 7th in total offense out of 14 SEC teams. We didn't utilize the rest of the players. Last year could have and should have been an offense for the ages. When you hve Mett, OBJ, Landry, and HIll, all in their final season all at the same time, all on the same offense. The stars don't line up like that often. instead we frittered it away with a dull, unimaginative, bul crap offense. If we would have run a Bama or FSU style we would have had something great.

The reason we finished 6th is because we were 105th in plays ran. Again, we were 12tH IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY in yards per play and 9th in points per play. But dont let facts get in the way of you looking stupid.
