It's bullshite they distribute it equally. Vandy gets 31 million for sucking arse and drawing literally zero TV share?

If I remember right, the atheletic department gives the academic side 5 - 10 million every year....we have one of the few atheletic programs in the country that actually makes money...

Why such a dramatic response? I'm not advocating Vandy receiving zero monies but it's no secret the LSU bama game earns significantly more ad dollars than nearly all other SEC games.

I think that's some murky territory. If the AD is in the black independently, it has no responsibility to pay the University. It's not the AD's responsibility to fund the University.

I don't know. We always bitch about day games but essentially we are just earning other schools more money. No company will buy an ad to watch Kentucky vs Vandy at 2:30 on CBS.
IMO the teams who bring in the most should earn the most.

TV market share for the sec is so much higher than it was in the 90s. But yeah we have sucked at basketball lately. I would have no problem with Kentucky receiving substantially more TV money than us.
