re: LSU Softball Incoming Freshman for 2016 Season.

Were any of the LA girls on the LA Little League Big League Girl Softball Team. They just won the Little League (16-18) Championship beating California 9-1. The LA team is from Monroe. Lacy Hill had a no hitter thru 6.1 innings. She did not look 18.

I was just watching that and thinking the same thing. I sure hope so. They dominated that championship game.

Overall talent, the class arriving this month is going to be hard to top. They have 3 elite players & 1 elite pitcher. Can't say that about the 16 class right now. Although I do like the Dawson kid as well as Weinberger from Baton Rouge. Both will contribute over the course of their careers.

I think with the current pitchers and incoming players a title should be won within the next 2-3 years.

I disagree, this coming class is very very good. The next coming class I think has more talent overall, Michael Cunningham is a top ten/fifteen player. Amanda Doyle should be a top twenty player but had an injury last year, will be a beast and one of the best offensive players in LSU history, she has just as much power as Bianka Bell. She has played travel ball with elite travel ball teams. Maribeth Gorsuch is a top 50 player, very good pitcher. Like we need any more pitchers.... kidding aside, she is an elite pitcher. Nicky Dawson is probably the biggest steal, the girl has offers from almost every SEC team and has lot of interest from pac 12 schools.
Sydney Springfield is flying up the radar, she will be another top 100 player when its all over.

Either way both classes are stacked. So who cares.
