You are way too sensitive. It is a medical fact that a woman's hormones change when they become pregnant. Even my daughter suggested that maybe some of her decisions could be effected by her pregnancy. Did you see some of the coaching mistakes she made at third last season? And how long did she continue to have Corbello in the rotation and keep Quinn at second? Come on man. I love this team and the university and will never disrespect the girls while they are on the field playing. I only cheer them on and have taught my daughter to do the same. But coaches are fair game. Period.

YEP. I have seen them both play the position and Kreamer is far and away a better third baseman.

And talk to your coach, I'll take the info I get from players and parents as more of the truth. Coaches are and have to be more political and won't say anything bad about their players. At least not to someone like you.

I agree 100 percent with Tigerbait357.... this needs to stop right now because some of things said here don't belong here at all. I want to be able to enjoy the Tigers play and not have to read some of the things that I've been reading.

I enjoyed reading your original post. I'll sit down and have that beer with you one day!! Thanks for your support of LSU softball.

You shouldn't come to msg board then. IMO, the more popular softball becomes, the more common the trashing players/coaches thread will become as well. It's the nature of the beast in these times I suppose.

I understand that but while I see the attacks on coaches and players of other sports on here, it's usually not of a personal nature....more about decisions and actions...not who likes who or whose hormones are out of kilter....

If you have a basis of complaining about performance and decisions...then I won't say a word....but when one attacks the character or personally about a Tiger in good standing, then I'll say something.

I've been involved personally in softball for almost 30 years and have been a part of the growth and sometimes I feel the need to not let our sport get messy like other sports.

Sports messy? They are sports: Fans have the right to criticize the players and coaches. If you can handle that, then go read people magazine. I hear it's nice for the ladies.

You didn't read my statement did you E Ducote? I didn't say that you couldn't criticize the coaches and players. I said if you attack the character or get personal about them, then you are out of line.

You were out of line when ypu said the things about Beth, SJ, Corbello, etc., concerning hormones when pregnant, players not liking another and "hoping" that player would transfer, questioning the mental capacity of other players....

Then when you backtrack concerning your hope that SJ would transfer and then said you didn't and was caught by others who kept copies of your quotes, your credibility is not real strong right now.

So you can tell me to watch a fairy tale if you want, but that doesn't change what you posted.

Do I agree with every decision that our coaches make....heck no! And I'm sure that if I was the head coach, fans would disagree with me too. That's not the issue here. The issue is the personal attacks you make.

I don't see anyone on the Rant questioning Les Miles, Johnny Jones, or Paul Manieri's character. I see a lot of people critical of their quarterback or pitching decisions and I agree a lot of times. People complain about the salary and lack of recruiting by Nikki, but they don't talk about her personal life...if so, that poster would get called out too.

What does People magazine have to do with this? Or am I reading that you are calling me a lady?

I used the word "messy" to keep from saying anything worse. I learned that from a softball parent years ago who used that word to describe people who have no business sticking their nose in places that they don't need to go.

She is and will be a beast at LSU in the lead off spot for 4 years. She has been timed getting from home to first in less than 2.5 seconds. She will be the fastest ever at LSU. She is also (or was as of last week) batting 1.000 in her summer ball travel team.

Thanks Educote, I didn't see her in the OP and was just wondering. Her dad coached me in college. I remember her when she was 5 running around the field. Her dad always said she was gonna be a beast!

Some friendly book keepers if this is the case after over a month of travel ball playing.

Dawson will be a senior at Parkview Baptist this coming season and will not suit up for the Tigers until the 2017 season.

Nicky Dawson was batting 1.000 at one point this summer. She has worked very hard the last couple years and may be one of the best ever to suit p for the tigers... in the same category as Ashlee Ducote, who just happens to be her coach at Parkview.

Dawson batted 1.000 in the local metro league which was an eight-game summer schedule. Still amazing. But more amazing is that she didn't get thrown out trying to steal in 47 attempts - the entire summer.
