This. People thinking that Scott Cochran has surpassed Moffitt are fooling themselves. Cochran is a Moffitt clone and he is not the reason Bama is who they are. That would be Nick Saban.

Moffitt is great. And we're not falling behind Bama in S&C. If you compare combine #'s from their players and ours there is little difference.

The main reason we struggle so much on O vs Bama is scheme pure & simple. Clemson had great success vs Bama (as did OM) but it wasn't by just lining-up and knocking 'em off the ball.

A raise so Aaron can walk on for a semester and free up a spot in the recruiting class and take a scholarship in the spring. Good deal.

I'm fine with it. Before the national championship game, I read somewhere that one of the Bama coaches said, "Clemson is the only team that looks like us besides LSU." Physicality has never been the issue. Recruiting at key positions and junior departure cost us a few times though.

that and the Les Miles playbook consisted of two plays... and he never used the second one.

Ha ha.under miles lsu ran out of more formationsand has a wider variety of plays than 95% of cfb. This is just another ignorant rant myth. All those high flying hunh offenses run far less variations of plays than lsu.

The stuff is readily available OTC. As is IGF-1, and straight sublingual HGH.

IF that's so important, can our players not afford $30 to buy a bottle of their own?

This is good news. It is now the job of each position coach to make sure that their players go to the weight room and actually do what they are supposed to do.

I can in no way critize his current techniques bc of his national reapect, coaching tree & body of work.

However, it does seem like the last 2-3 years players are not up to traditional "Moffitt" standards.

Yeah, we did so much better this year using the O playbook and the rest of the SEC does so much better against Alabama since 2007.

Some of you guys are so far out of touch with SEC football reality it's laughable.

not clearly, the culture that Saban has created is as much to do with the success as Cochran.

Miles had let the program get stale and players were worn and beat down....Moffitt didn't just get dumb, he knows his stuff.

Lets see what he can do with a different approach by the head man.

Fact number one… Alabama has recruited better, bigger, and stronger players then LSU in key positions. Fact number two… LSU has been in most of these games with Bama… Generally losing because Bama puts nine in the box and shuts down our running game.

Facts = down votes when someone points out the obvious truth. Up vote from me.
