If I was Alleva right now I wouldn't even be talking to Florida or the SEC office right now. Then go on national tv and tell everyone how incompetent these bastards were.

so play the game on 11/19 and keep LSU's Atlanta dreams alive or not play it all and the season's over and you think that's good?

Some of you really aren't using logic. No better than the prideful ADs.

but they won't. That's not how it works. LSU should've taken the offer.

Yeah the nerve of LSU having to play three road games in a 12 day span plus lose the revenue.

Not that it won't happen down the road but the absurdity of the UF this entire week and the SEC not having the balls to step in and say find a mutual site this week.

Screw McMurphy for even carrying this. The game was scheduled for this w/e.

LSU provided UF with an alternate venue and arrangements.

UF refused.
That is always their option.
They can refuse to play a game.

But as a result
UF should forfeit the game!
PERIOD!

Why the hell should we break our back physically and financially if theyre not willing to negotiate? frick them.

This was an obvious ploy to postpone or cancel the game by UF, because we would massacre them with the player losses they have and the positive momentum.

I bet they would love a tired LSU team having to go to Gainesville late in the season.

Like the idea above of granting LSU a win for SEC championship eligibility. Another solution woul be to play on Nov 19th in Tiger stadium.

But UF should have went to BR this week for their 3rd road game in a row and lose their home game?

Or gone to a neutral site, or played the game on Monday night

They didn't have to they could have easily moved it to a neutral site. LSU offered everything possible to make this game happen. Florida was unwilling plain and simple because your coach and AD didn't want to play the game this weekend plain and simple.

Neutral site and/or pushed back by days. LSU has set modern day SEC precedents for both options.
