Doesn't really mean much. He'll be back by the time the season comes around.

Yep, as I said in the other thread, September is a long way away

though missing practice won't help him

Good. Tired of these "big men on campus. "

NO ONE is above the team.

We need more Eric Reid types around.

What exactly is he suspended from during summer? Working out? I don't get these summer time suspensions.

Ya I've had to explain to many people this happens at evert school but because they only keep up with lsu and in baton rouge...we hear our stories. Crazy how that works.

Yup, there's not a school in this country that doesn't have behavioral issues.

He has the playbook in his room. He can study it and continue to workout in at the rec. I really don't see it doing much of anything other then putting him behind possibly 2 games in the season where he gets limited carries.

Is the number of incidents and pace abnormal for a major college football program?

it's increasing pace of occurence is abnormal for LSU.

It stands to reason that as the leader of this program is Miles fostering such an environment?

I realize this question bothers you, but it is a legitimate one to ask when such events occur on a regular basis now.

A suspended JH in 2013 may mean he doesn't draft this year and we get him back for 2014.

I'd rather fournette get used to HIS offense at the start of 2014

I would think he was probably already on some sort of probation for the whole Redemptrist cover-up issue.

Exactly. That was in the Spring and he was fine by the summer.

Hill will be fine. It's just an aggressive PR move by Miles but really just a slap on the wrist

It doesn't bother me, I just know your motive behind asking that question.

Can you show stats of Increasing occurrence? Not saying you're not correct but is it more occurrence or just more coverage.

I'm not one to brag that I predicted this, but I did.

Good luck to Hill in the future.

Sucks.

But there is only one school in the country that has lost their starting quarterback, returning Heisman finalist, and future high NFL draft pick running back.

Everybody else loses a #3 receiver, or back-up left tackle.

I say either kick him off or sweep it under the rug. This summer time suspension crap is pointless. So he misses summer conditioning which most players hate anyway. Not much of a punishment. This suspension is pure PR based.
