Anyone that paid attention to what he was saying would understand. He had them as a 7 seed because they were "first in the SEC". That was the big draw on their resume. Start falling in the SEC rankings and now the entire body of work comes into play and that part ain't good.

It's nice to make the tourny, but let's be real for a second...

This team is going to be bounced right out of this tourny before the first half ends...

so does it really matter all that much...Let's say we end up at 11 or even the play in game...Look at the possible teams

Indiana, Baylor, Utah, Butler, Texas Tech, lol

losing to a team that you are probably going to be battling out for a spot in the tournament really hurts...better to beat bama and lose to arky

LSU needs to win out.

Key wins at Arky, home vs Florida, and stealing one at Kentucky is their only chance.

If they lose anymore games, I'm not sure they're in.

I don't think they need to win out, 13-5 will get us in but I'd like to see us play well in the sec tourney. But if we can't beat Tennessee or arky then we probably shouldn't be a tourney team.

We don't have to beat Kentucky. 4-1 gets us in. 3-2 and a win in the SEC tournament would be 50/50.

Do you even watch college basketball this year? Butler? Texas Tech? Those are not 6 seeds.

LSU is a very simple team to predict. If LSU matches up with a team that wants to run, LSU has a great chance to win. If you play a team that wants to keep it 60-58, we have no chance

Tigerbait should be here shortly to laugh at everyone and say we are comfortably in. That guy has been some kind of delusional

yes, i was grouping those play-in teams with the other 6 seeded teams like Indiana and Baylor....I think after it's all said and done we could very well be in the play-in game against a texas tech butler, cincy team

I would take that seed and opponent format in a heartbeat. God people the world isn't ending because we played one of the hottest 2 teams in the conference and lost last night. What happened to the 13-5 gets us in crew. 5 games left, try to enjoy the rest of the season

OH AND TQ, PLEASE WAKE THE frick UP AND CONTRIBUTE

This team doesnt deserve to get in regardless of what happens the rest of the way. They are the defintion of dysfunction.

The good news is that, Camp's Bracket still has us in. However, if we lose one of the next two we are definitely on the outside looking in without many games left.

and you're right to say that. it's not over at all. sure the margin for error is diminished again. maybe last night will be a wake up call.

i know this is unpopular but, rpi is a serious problem. lsu is at 82. they've got to burn rubber to get that up into the 60's at least. it would help if they got a huge sec tourney win over one of the top 3 or 4. neutral site, top 50 win would be immense.

I am about to say something that I have never said before....

I agree with you on this point.

For the first time we have a RPI problem. Now all of this is assuming that RPI will play a major factor for LSU which I don't think it will.

Last night was a chance to boost the RPI and we wasted the opportunity. We only have 2 RPI boosting games left. We have to win one or both now to help the RPI.

But the committee has hinted that they will overlook LSU's RPI.

We are doomed. This loss last night is devastating. We basically have to win out until Kentucky. Do that and we have a shot. But drop on of these two road games coming up and it may be the end of our run.

IF LSU makes the tourney, I'd rather them be an 11 than a 7.
