You never answered previously: Would David Duke be a finalist for this position, yes or no?

The fact that you continue to be this intentionally obtuse so that you can act as though all political opinions are the same in all situations is extremely telling. His research wasn’t on abortion, monetary policy, or some other political topic that couldnt be directly instituted at LSU. It was on critical race theory, arguably the most divisive and oppressive mainstream political belief system in the current climate. And he can absolutely implement policies on campus at LSU that fall in line with that political belief. That alone should disqualify him from consideration for this position. The fact that it hasn’t, and that special arrangements have been made to allow him to get to this point, is very concerning.

Having research background in quantum physics and critical race theory are apples and oranges, especially when many stake holder at LSU were looking forward to moving on from a time when the university makes seemingly every decision based on race and/or racism

But you’re only listening to what he says in a very limited forum. His comments made previously are absolutely applicable. It would be negligent to ignore anything said outside of a job interview.
