Ya it's a neutral site. It's not in tiger stadium. That wouldn't be good at all for byu. Season opener n Death Valley at 830PM! It would make it much worse for you guys if game was n TS.

I'm literally going to lay on my couch until 7pm watching football all day, and then get up and go to the game. Then immediately go home and lay in bed and watch some shitty west coast game on TV after.

It's going to be awesome.

It only made sense to have it in New Orleans. BYU fans should not be complaining. This is in no way shape or form a home game for us. We still have to travel.

If LSU was concerned with the economic impact the game would be in Tiger Stadium.

LSU wants to play in Texas for recruiting reasons and (sorta related) to let family/relatives of Texas players go to the game without huge travel expense.

Eta- the economy of Baton Rouge and the state. LSU gets it's full paycheck.

I agree. If ESPN is willing to pay for the game then have it in New Orleans not Houston.

I mean...the only reason it was happening in the first place was because Houston invited both of us. Its not like the two schools picked houston to begin with.

Hey man, whenever LSU is up 21-0 in the first half and you're feeling upset, just raise your hands to the sky and yell "hasa diga eebowai"

I think Alleva wakes up every morning, looks in the mirror and vows to be a bigger Tard than he was the day before.

To much uncertainty about rainfall totals and Mitch's pumps in N.O. right now. In the OT today there was a quote about Mitch saying the pumps were fine, when literally one was on fire!

I thought LSU likes games in Texas for recruiting purposes? Don't we open up in Dallas against Miami next year?

We were down 24-7 in the 3rd quarter and then their awesome running back got hurt

Melvin Gordon was the running back for Wisconsin and he didn't get hurt, the head coach didn't play him the rest of the game. A real head scratcher of decision.

Would like to take this opportunity to point out that New Orleans and Houston are NOT in the same state.

So technically, no matter which site... it is out of state. It is a matter of perspective only at that point.

Biggest reason LSU won is Wisconsin's big nose tackle went down and LSU started opening up massive holes.

Yeah, like their whole team got hurt. They were kicking our arse.

Admittedly a lot of their injuries were prob due to our SEC speed and power and shite #S-E-C

"It only made sense to have it in New Orleans. BYU fans should not be complaining. This is in no way shape or form a home game for us. We still have to travel."

A Whopping 30 minute to 1 hour drive. This is basically a home game and we are getting nothing in return. Do you know how many thousands of BYU fans are now not making the trip due to distance and short notice and having to cancel flights, hotels (actually few are getting refunds on hotels they have already booked), etc and yet you delusional folks think it should be all about catering to LSU.

It's funny how SEC teams think the universe revolves around them, how they will almost never travel outside of the SEC footprint to play OOC games (especially out west or up North or at altitude), play patsies to pad their W-L records and hype up their conference out to be the best through smoke and mirrors. Yet they aren't willing to actually prove it (ie step outside their foot print and play good teams in other parts of the country).
