one more thing, people may not realize how big being in the top 4 in the SEC may help our chances.

If we were the 6 seed and aTm was the 3 or 4 seed than I think we would have to be worried, but because we are in the top 4 of the SEC it really helps our chances.

If the SEC gets 5 teams which I think we will get that, aTm will be left out before we are. The only way that aTm gets in over us if somehow their 2-0 record over us (possibly 3-0 if they beat us) gives them the edge. But they have no impressive wins like we do.

You can see exactly what the committee will see and consider in the link in the OP......not matter which damn entity posts it, although whether this board likes it or not the 4 letter network has clout, it is what the committee will see since 99% of them haven't ever seen a Murray St game.
I disagree as strongly as I can.

Murray St has ZERO chance of making the NCAAT. Literally NONE.

well they could win their conference tourney, unless that has already happened.

I don't ever remember seeing LSU make it out of "work left to do" on that column. Closest we've come is right before the Tennessee game, and then we lost a bad game when it counted.

7-5 in last 12 games is not closing the deal. Granted, one loss was a close one against Kentucky which might earn style points, and another is against A&M which didn't hurt too badly; but the other 3 were bad.
agreed. LSU is not a lock. They have a good chance- really need to win at least one in sect. I could see them losing ugly in the first game and getting left out. It's not far fetched at all.

Nothing has changed, that is where ESPN bubble watch has had us for weeks.

ESPN doesn't broadcast ONE tournament game FYI, so that's a dumb statement.

No. Wofford won today. Iona is on now. If they both win, I think there is only 1 other potential buster from a small conf (Stephen f Austin).

No othe small conf (1 bid league) has a team in the Top 50.

I still think if A&M beats us for a 3rd time they still are behind us.

I'll give you 5:1 odds that Murray St doesn't make the NCAAT. You name the stakes. That's some great odds bro.

Agreed. TAMU is playing for 6th SEC team IN.

The only "crazy" scenario I see has nothing to do with LSU. It's if TAMU goes DEEP (not win SECT) and UM goes one and done in the SECT and the SEC gets 5.

TAMU could theoretically bump UM.

What the hell does that have to do with anything. ESPN publishes the most news on sports so obviously the committee will get most of their news from there..... That is not debatable.

It is well publicized yearly that committee members put teams in and leave teams out that they didn't see play a live game at all. So you are wrong again.
