I was listening to espn radio over the weekend I think it was the John Clayton show and they were talking Ravens. He had a guy on from Baltimore who pretty much said the reason they got rid of CCC was they felt he was too conservative especially with a lead. said that the new OC they brought in has more of an air raid offense that lets Flacco throw more deep balls because apparently Joe likes to air it out and they felt Camerons offense sorta hand cuffed the team.
I see they're re-writing history again. CCC was fired because Joe Flacco wanted the change. He viewed Cameron as a "control freak" so they fired him to keep Flacco happy.
Keeping Flacco Happy
Cameron was the victim of franchise politics, not necessarily performance.

I'm not sure if you actually know this, but you are one dumb mf...seriously. There have been LOTS of QBs that started their Fresh or RSFresh year and done very well.....Johnny Football...Tommy Hodson...could name a shite load of them. You are really one stupid mf. End of discussion.

BH played alot last year. This will not be his first rodeo.
Alot? Pump the brakes chief, He played in the closing minutes against Moo State and started against Auburn where we got crushed...not to mention knick-knack time against smaller opponents.
I don't care who we start at quarterback as long as they help this team win! Frankly, I'm tired of all the back and fourth.
either way, I like your enthusiasm. I'm IN!

You guys were all over the Jennings bandwagon after this one play went down.

Of course there are... here's a list of first and second year quarterbacks to rank in the Top 50 in passing efficiency among FBS quarterbacks, 23 in the last 5 years. I'd also point out that 6 of them were 1st round draft picks in the NFL.... it happens, but it's not a common thing, and for the 23 listed, there are 227 not listed that were third year quarterbacks or later.
2014 - J.T. Barrett, Ohio St
2014 - Jared Goff, Cal
2014 - Brad Kaaya, Miami
2013 - Jameis Winston, Florida St
2013 - Marcus Mariota, Oregon
2013 - Nate Sudfeld, Indiana
2013 - Davis Webb, Texas Tech
2012 - J.W. Walsh, Oklahoma St
2012 - Marcus Mariota, Oregon
2012 - Teddy Bridgewater, Louisville
2012 - Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M
2012 - David Ash, Texas
2012 - Brett Hundley, UCLA
2012 - Braxton Miller, Ohio St
2011 - Connor Shaw, S Carolina
2011 - Aaron Murray, Georgia
2011 - James Franklin, Missouri
2010 - Aaron Murray, Georgia
2010 - Darron Thomas, Oregon
2010 - Denard Robinson, Michigan
2010 - Geno Smith, W Virginia
2010 - Matt Barkley, USC
2010 - Taylor Martinez, Nebraska

We throw the ball a lot when we have a decent qb.
You mean when it's third and 12 or we are down by 17 we throw it a lot.
Come on man, Les is a quarterback killer.
The only reason Mett had the year he had was we were behind all season with a very bad defense.

The optimism stems from the belief that Brandon Harris will start as a junior and senior in 2016-17, Feleipe Franks will start as a junior and senior in 2018-19, and Zadock Dinkelmann will start as a junior and senior in 2020-21.
I applaud your unbridled enthusiasm but you're getting the cart so far out in front of the horse it's beyond inane.

It is insane.
I'm not committing myself to any of these guys until they actually suit up on Saturdays.
Perrilloux and Kiel were hard lessons.

LSU has not had a quality QB like Bert Jones since Bert Jones! By a freak of nature u would think Les would eventually fine a good QB.

LOL...that's a LOT of QB's considering that many don't start the first few years because they have someone that is good in front of them. LMAO. You aren't the brightest bulb in the fixture, that's for sure. I'm sure that what I'm telling you is over your head anyway...you probably don't get it.
Also, you are using top 50 in passing efficiency. BH doesn't have to be in the top 50 in order to be ahead of Jennings.....BRO. LOL. I don't even know where Jennings finished last year, but I'd be willing to bet that if BH could finish in the top 75 then he would be ahead Jennings. In addition, it's not like BH was chopped liver, he was very highly recruited with tons of talent....so it isn't far fetched to think he could be in "your" group of 23...so to speak.

I agree....so how much do you think would be a fair fine? $500?
Also, since Bert Jones? So, you are saying Saban failed at this as well right?

As long as clm is coach, we will never have an AA qb, and all the top flight qb's know this. If they are unaware of this fact , their handlers will inform them. miles has his good points, but he has a lot of bad ones as we have experienced, topped off by the NC game, if you could call that a game.I think the boo birds will be in full force by the 5th or 6th game. And aj will be the qb, and bh will be cheerleader gazing once again .

In the last 5 years, there have been approximately 600 starting quarterbacks in the FBS... in that time, 23 first and second year quarterbacks were good enough to earn the starting job for their team and rank in the Top 50 in Passing Efficiency.
That's roughly 3% to leave room for the likes of Marcus Mariota, Jameis Winston, and Johnny Manziel.
Maybe Harris will be in the 3% next year, he certainly has the talent to be a future 1st round draft pick like the players mentioned above. However, it is much more likely that he'll fall within the vast majority of FBS quarterbacks who just aren't equipped to lead an offense without a significant amount of time in the program.
It's not a knock on Harris, it's the nature of college football.

It's kind of like Brian Billick. When he was in Minnesota the vikings they would put up points but in Baltimore it was awful to watch.
It was an issue of talent in Minnesota
You had Cunningham having a great year for starters. Then at WR you had Moss, Carter, Reed. Glover was a serviceable TE and Robert Smith was a very capable back. Add in the fact that they had a really strong offensive line and you get a high potent offense. I don't think it was going to take a brilliant coordinator to get production out of that offense.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Our defense was ranked top 25 in the country. Mett had the 2nd best season of any qb in lsu history. Stop spouting shite you read on the rant. We've had good qb play in 2006,2007,2009,2011,2013.
