Experience and talent will be the reasons for these improvements. You lose arguably the best QB and recievers in LSU history and replace them with freshman and sophmores with no experence and last years offense is what you end up with. We still have questions going into this year but i'm betting on talent and an extra year of experience being enough. I believe both of our QB's will be fine but if Harris starts the year with Dural, Dupree and Trey as his top targets and Fournette lined up behind him then the sky is the limit for the offense and the team. We're not starting the year with recievers with a total of 7 receptions and a freshman star running back with 0 carries on his career. The reason they starting all these treads about LSU offense is fear and they're right to fear us.

You're on the right track, but QB play will rarely, if ever, be the strength of the team as long as Miles is the coach, and that's the way it should be. The only occasions where that's been the exception have involved a freakishly talented QB with with at least three years in the system.

It will be a strength not the strength. That will be Fournette

Harris has more experience then cardale jones had, or Sims, or nick Marshall did the year they made the title. Or more than AJ had for 2011 bama. Or Greg Mac for 2008 bama

I was listening to espn radio over the weekend I think it was the John Clayton show and they were talking Ravens. He had a guy on from Baltimore who pretty much said the reason they got rid of CCC was they felt he was too conservative especially with a lead. said that the new OC they brought in has more of an air raid offense that lets Flacco throw more deep balls because apparently Joe likes to air it out and they felt Camerons offense sorta hand cuffed the team.

im sure all of this is well known about Cameron and has been said many times before. it was just everything the guy said pretty much summed up whats been seen at LSU here lately.

now im not saying Qb play will not improve but it seems that Miles and Cameron are almost a bad combination when it comes to all that. I hope im wrong because I like them both. again- all this has been said a million times no breaking news here. looking forward to another great season

I actually don't know how true this is. Didn't Harris only start playing football his sophomore year in hs?

2014 - Cardale Jones, redshirt sophomore
2014 - Blake Sims, redshirt senior
2013 - Nick Marshall, junior
2011 - AJ McCarron, redshirt sophomore
2008 - Greg McElroy, redshirt sophomore

Brandon Harris has less experience than literally every one of the QBs you named.

I have never understood that with CLM having made a name for himself and working his way through the ranks as an offensive coach, can't fix the offense. I can't remember another cfb coaches specialty consistently being his teams weakness. It's kind of like Brian Billick. When he was in Minnesota the vikings they would put up points but in Baltimore it was awful to watch. I guess CLM is the Brian Billick of CFB

He means taking snaps during a game genius. None of them were in a platoon with another QB the year before they were named starter. They may have platooned the year they were named starter but not before. So yes BH will have more playing experience then all of them if he is the starter this year.

"arguably the best QB and recievers in LSU history"

Bert Jones may take exception to that statement.

Call me crazy, but I'd rather have my quarterback have three years learning the playbook and developing his throwing technique than three games of live action.

You may want to look up the word experience. How many games did they start? 0

How much did they play before those years?

Very little
