have not missed an LSU game for the past 40 years either watching it on tv or going to game and I don't ever remember having an offense that is so painful to watch. The lack of imagination, play calling and execution make it miserable and embarrassing to view. I am getting to where I don't look forward to watching the games. Anyone else feel like this?

PLEASE call in and tell this to Miles tomorrow night on his radio show! I'd LOVE to hear his reaction

I lost my pain sometime during the 2010 season. With Les Miles it wasn't worth it to get angry or upset at what was going to happen on offense. It was gonna be what it was gonna be.

Since then I have been pleasantly surprised when the offense has performed well.

This exactly. Saturday morning, I woke up and was not in the least bit excited for the game. Knew beforehand it was going to be a loss, just didn't know how bad. Hell, I doubt we even win 7 games this season. It's not worth it to me anymore to get excited or upset because until Miles is gone, LSU is going to continue looking like this in the games that matter.

You just HAD to start another thread for this. You couldn't have put this on one of the million-and-one threads talking about the exact same thing, could you?

Your pain will linger until 2019 my friend, you should have spoke up in 2007 when he was running Charles Scott 3 yds and a pile of dust against Arkansas and lost.

Only an LSU fan is dumb enough to blame the offense in a 50-48 loss.

Been going since 1957. Yes, it is very painful...this has been going on for quite some time but the defense has been bailing us out. TM7
saved a few games for us his final year.

No more painful or less imaginative than the offense in the BCSNC game or 2012 with Jefferson. Predictability of the play calling is exactly the same.

Actually I read through some of the play by play online. The pattern I'm seeing is one of two strategies:
1) Start off by jamming it right down their throat. For 8 yards on 3 plays combined. Punt. Repeat.
2) Passing play gets called back by penalty. Normally holding. Run. Punt.

Question is - what if we don't hold and actually complete a pass?

No Absolutely not. No one has expressed this before. We all want to return to those glory days of yesteryear under Hallman's flashy offense. Or Di Nardo's whiz bang offense, or Nick's score a minute offense. Let's not forget how exciting Crowton's fun and gun offense was.

I bet that Washington St./Cal game was fun to watch, though. Mike Leach and his guy slinging it around for over 700 yards and putting up 59 points. Bring that here.

SEC Championship our offense did just fine in the 2nd half. LF7 will never see a hole as big as the one Alfred Blue ran through untouched.

Fail....our offense was atrocious in that game...I think we had like 10 yards at halftime. Turnovers and Tyrann mathieu turned it around. Georgia quit then we started to move the ball.

Think the pirate air raid would work in the SEC? Brandon Harris' arm would fall off after the first quarter.
