I have not missed an LSU game for the past 40 years either watching it on tv or going to game and I don't ever remember having an offense that is so painful to watch. The lack of imagination, play calling and execution make it miserable and embarrassing to view. I am getting to where I don't look forward to watching the games. Anyone else feel like this?

SEC Championship our offense did just fine in the 2nd half. LF7 will never see a hole as big as the one Alfred Blue ran through untouched.

Man, those two isolated games were terrible from an offense standpoint. Their memories can't fade fast enough. I think LSU had like 11 yards at half in the SEC championship

Your pain will linger until 2019 my friend, you should have spoke up in 2007 when he was running Charles Scott 3 yds and a pile of dust against Arkansas and lost.

I lost my pain sometime during the 2010 season. With Les Miles it wasn't worth it to get angry or upset at what was going to happen on offense. It was gonna be what it was gonna be.

Since then I have been pleasantly surprised when the offense has performed well.

I'm not sure which game in 2007 was worse, Arkansas or Kentucky. I was in Lexington for the latter. Matt Flynn was hobbled with an ankle sprain and couldn't hit the side of a barn with his passes. Charles Scott ran like a man possessed in the 1st half (close to 100 yards if I recall correctly), only for Miles to bench him for the entire 2nd half in favor of an injured Hester who tried his best but wasn't effective. We had chance after chance to put them away but we didn't.

I am not saying that was the last time...but the OP said he had been a fan for 40 years, so I was just reminding him of another time when things were not pretty.

How quickly you erase the bullshite years out of the memory serves you well. I remember watching most of the games you are talking about, but not the individual plays. LSU has been an offensive eye sore for years, but the defense bailed them out...unfortunately, not happening this year.
