LSU is in Tupelo,Ms

I was driving down the road in front of the airport two blocks from my house and looked over ar 4:00 to see 4 LSU draped buses parked in the lot. I parked got out and it was the football teams buses waiting on the plane from B.R.. I talked to the state police and about a dozen fans waiting on the plane. They landed and walked right in front of us. Saw coach Miles , Mett , Lee, They all waved and were friendly getting on the buses. Of course I was wearing an LSU shirt, had a car flag and LSU plates. Mett was taller and thinner than I thought. They are staying in Tupelo at the Hilton Inn , will be catered a meal and go see a movie as a team. Also saw my hometown, Bastrop, players, Rueban Randle and Josh Downs. What a surprise on a Wed. driving down the road.

it's bad when you have to stay in tupelo because the city of the school you're playing is that terrible

Too bad Chris Garrett is no longer on the team. He could have taken the team out and showed them the town!
