I don't see it as a make or break for the NCAA Tourney, but we have to get wins and this is an opportunity. Like you said we will need to get road wins at some point. Would love some sooner than later.

The conference is very competitive this year and wins are hard to come by, but I feel like we have an opportunity coming up before Kentucky.

Vs Auburn (W)
Vs. Bama (W)
Assuming that we win the home games (big assumption, but definitely possible) and win at MSU, we would be at 5-3 during this stretch. Manage to get a win at either ole miss, florida, or vandy and we would be at 7-3 heading into the Kentucky game. I think that most reasonable fans around here would be happy with that.
Let's go ahead and get the big road win tonight!

It's not a make or break game, but it does have more emphasis due to the fact LSU laid an egg at Mizzou. Regardless of how well they play at home, LSU isn't sniffing the tournament if they don't get at least 3-4 SEC road wins (FWIW, I don't think LSU runs the table at home).
They already blew a good opportunity against a bad Mizzou team.

I'd like to think a road win at the O'Dome would cancel out our Missouri loss. This is basically another "should win if you are a tourney team" type game though.

We better. The game will be won or lost by perimeter defense tonight. Ole Miss can shoot and score with the 1-3 guys so we better be ready guard them
This is one game where I wouldn't mind Having Mickey and Martin at 4 & 5 to start cause we need quick people guarding the perimeter and not Martin.
Would love it if we started Gray, Patterson, and Hornsby and brought Q off the bench per usual.

Yep, especially after the Mizzou loss, Kentucky crushing Mizzou and Ole Miss almost upsetting Kendutky It's kind of a must win for us.
