If parking and traffic scares you, there’s a shuttle service from Lauberge and downtown that drops you off 5 mins from stadium. Or is that too inconvenient?...

Generally you’re right, but the past two storms were significantly worse inside the levee compared to outside the levee.
Beta had 4-5 ft of water and Ida had 7-9 ft INSIDE the levee. ...

Is a new bridge needed -absolutely yes, with proper planning for FUTURE traffic demands, including the arterial roads/streets and proper bypasses.
In the meantime, we have the infrastructure for today’s traffic. A route from I-12 to Port Allen via Airline NB, cross old bridge, and HWY 415 SB is ...
