Niswanger isn't playing? I thought he was with the Bengals.
ETA: Nevermind, just saw that he's a free agent.

Isn't Miles supposed to be an offense line specialist.

Whitworth? And I think Nate Livings too. Maybe they are being counted as part of the 2005 group.
Still, point taken.

He is? Who claimed that? I know he played o-line like thirty years ago.

I respect the LSU offensive philosophy. I believe that running the football and chewing up clock when combined with a tremendous defense will when championships.
However, we are not developing our offensive players and teaching them to be successful within this system. We need to pass block when necessary, have our receivers get separation and force the defense to respect our passing ability. Then we can run the ball at the defense and destroy their will.
We don’t seem to be making any progress over the years and that shows by the lack of linemen in the NFL. Those lineman are the heart and soul of making this system work.

And yet, OL hasn't been a weakness over the past 7 years. Pass blocking has been weak at times, but in general has been solid. Run blocking is consistently among the best in the nation.

Maybe some university needing a head coach will notice all our offensive creativity and success and hire Coach Stud to head up their program?
