We just lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament to Iowa and Missouri. People continuously disrespected DD in her last few years as HC saying she can’t win it all and look at where we are now.
There is no sugar coating this. This is not the expectation nor the standard.

Not good at all
I was willing to give him the chance since he transformed LSU's recruiting and helped with LSU's success since DD brought him on but we have gone backwards in his 2nd year as full time coach.
We had our worst SEC Championship finish in like a decade and then get knocked out in the first round.
No sugar coating anything. A team with these athletes (top level 10's and national team members) should be much much better.

I am upset and feel terrible for the team. BUt this should show Jay that you can't have allegiance to those who show they can't hit when it counts (Sami is an all-american, but she never once could be clutch when there was pressure, which is why the leadoff was so good for her). And honestly, Desiderio has improved, but post-season has always been a problem for her and it puts enormous pressure on the rest of the lineup when you are the leadoff. And, so here we are, with 5 seniors who came up becasue they didnt' like not making the top 4, and we weren't able to make the top 16.
