Sami. She should not be the anchor. She cannot hit if the pressure is on her. I mean all the ships have sailed. This has been a really good meet, but they will need a better bar rotation Saturday.
Edited to add: When I say all the ships have sailed, I mean the ships have sailed on scenarios where she won't be the anchor. But. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.

Sami gets the scores she gets because she’s the anchor. Move her up the lineup and those 9.90’s are easily 9.8’s.

Honestly for her sake she would benefit going earlier in the lineup to take pressure off of her.
But everything is what it is at this point. They aren't going to change lineup orders significantly when we are in the middle of post season. They will live or die by these lineups the rest of the way.

Jay is not going to change anything at this point. Maybe he'll wake up and put Finnegan over Arenas. I mean, if we want to have any chance at something.

Well, I didn’t realize Sami didn’t fall. So that 9.65 is a lot better than the 9.2 or so I expected. Still gave away an easy half a point in that rotation.

I guess he doesn’t want to put Aleah in because the last time she did 3 events it didn’t go well. Now if she would have done more routines during the season then maybe. This is where he should’ve taken more advantage of the exhibitions.

Kiya is having a great day. If the team doesn’t qualify to nationals she has a great shot to go as an individual if she survives beam

Well, while it wasn't as bad as it could be. Scores should be flying on beam, since they gave one of the Missouri girls a near 10 on beam. But we HAVE TO HIT. We cannot count a fall. WE gave away our cushion on bars.
It is so incredibly frustrating. Jay says he will always count on Sami - he has counted on her the last two years and she CANNOT GET US THERE.

Sami not officially coming off the bars actually saved us from not falling below Iowa and Missouri, we would have been .400-.500 tenths lower in our score if she did.
Gotta hit beam, counting one more fall at this point would be a death blow.
