+1

I am expecting 2 (UF and a loss between UGA/Bama/Ole Miss), but 3 is still acceptable to me.

Any more than that and all capital Les got from the NC is spent as far as I am concerned. He got a mulligan from me last year mostly because of RP despite the fact that most of the woes are attributed to him promoting friends. Another year of 4 or more losses would start to give credit to the naysayer notion that he only performed as well as he did because of leadership provided by Saban recruits.

I wouldn't want to tolerate a single loss and i hope Miles and the team view it the same way. This is really a stupid question to ask before the season even starts because who goes into a season saying they will tolerate losses.

Depends on injuries etc. Les will do fine despite the number of detractors on this board. I must add that most of Miles' critics here didn't have the gumption to complete their on hs careers. Internet is a good place for people to take cheap shots at coaches and players.
My unsolicited rant!

Also, the WAY they lose could affect things alot (assuming they lose 3, etc.). If they get blown out, look out of sorts, confused, and quit like they did at the end of last season, Les is in big trouble. If they lose close, hard fought games where they play well against a highly ranked opponent like Bama or FLA, then I don't think things are going to change anytime soon.

FWIW, I think 2 losses with a possible, 3, and no SECCG appearance (prob Cotton Bowl).

think three loses is the tipping point. Florida and one other loss is my prediction

QB and pass defense against crossing were two of the most glaring weaknesses last year. We will see

I would feel tolerable of two. Three would be somewhat uneasy, not sure. 4 or more would lead to another long offseason and tension filled meltdowns in the shrub's household.

Tolerable and acceptable are two different things to me. I can tolerate quite a bit but because I tolerate something doesn't nesaceraly mean I accept it as well.

Tolerate - a losing season
Acceptable - 2 loses

Well since I've been a fan since most of you were born it doesn't matter. But I'll be dissappointed if we don't win the west

Tolerate? How, exactly, would one NOT tolerate a given number of losses? If the team loses too many games for us to tolerate, what would we do about it?

I'll be disappointed if we lose more than 2 regular season games.

Not that I disagree in this particular case, but I was just curious, rtgr. Has there ever been a performance by any coach for any team in any sport at any time that you thought warranted his or her firing? I'm not talking about off the field criminal/moral/etc issues. I'm just talking about performance, wins and losses. Has anybody ever lost enough to warrant being fired? Anyone? Anywhere? In any sport? Ever?

If so, could you name him/her?
