Our fans are fricking nuts, and I love it.
If LSU is good, by damn we'll put pack any stadium. 13k for gymnastics, 12k for baseball, 3k for softball, etc.
We have a small, irrational segment, but overall it's a huge level-headed group that just loves to have a good time above all.

That's what I love most. I want that more from Mizzou fans. I wave my Quantrill flag at Mizzou games and go lunatic but always have bums who tell me to stop. I remember our first SEC game against Georgia I was doing some gentle heckling, nothing bad, but so many fake fans were telling me to stop and be more inviting to the visiting fans.

I don't think it's fair to compare the real live fans that actually tailgate, go to the games, and contribute to the school to the high schoolers and mouth breathers that can find a keyboard

This. All of this. And every fan base has that group of irrational knuckleheaded fans. Especially in the SEC. Sucks but it's true. Just gotta do your best to distance yourself from those fans. And if you don't know who those fans are, you're probably 1 of them

This is one way our two schools can relate. We both have leaders that decided fire was an important part of progression during the civil war.
For Missouri it was Quantrill burning Lawrence, Kansas, and for LSU it as General Sherman burning Atlanta to Savannah, GA to the ground.

Don't worry we haven't forgotten his sacrifice and what he did for us. We will never forget Quantrill and Bloody Bill Anderson and their Bushwhackers.
