What's the number in parenthesis next to their names?

Chris Hilton Jr (195)?

Running off young in state players that you are still developing isn't the way to put up a fence around Louisiana.

Is Peyton Todd finally ready to be the first string punter?

He came to the program highly regarded, but it was deemed necessary to get a transfer and Bramblett was basically a solid punter.

I sure hope so, who doesn’t want to see a 6’5” 250 lb punter?

I hope Peyton is ready though, love to see him succeed.

I don't think Brooks will be on roster. So that's 89. Wouldn't you have to remove scholarships from at least 7 to allow for 3 more transfers or Bussey?

I am curious who else will be groomed for center.

You have to look at Lunsford as a potential candidate, besides Echols and Cryer.

Those are the number of snaps played last season as documented by PFF and reported by Geaux247.

Love the RB room, but it was pretty important to get Williams to return. Three running backs is not enough to get through a season. Even four is awfully thin, when you consider injuries and such.

McBryde is a safety not a nickel

Nobody wants to be the guy who suggests that players should transfer out (it's uncouth), but logic implies that the players with zero snaps last season would be the most likely candidates.

100% agree. Thanks for putting this together. Also, agree on wanting to add 1 more portal DT.

Hoping the new defensive staff will move Toviano back to safety and he can beat out Major Burns.

It was reported that Brooks said that he wants to come back next season, but the expectation is that such a rapid recovery of ambulatory capabilities would require supernatural intervention. But I don't like to remove players until there is some type of official statement from the team or from the player.

The staff wouldn't remove him from the roster. But there is a 0% chance he suits back up for LSU. Its a truly tragic story but the staff would be completely bashed if they elected to remove him from the team.

On another note Toviano is moving to Safety based on what I was hearing/reading....

I'm glad I'm not the one having to dwindle this roster down to 85
