• I have updated player classification and letters earned (except for 3 presumed medical redshirts).
• Incoming transfers are listed with jersey numbers from previous schools.
• The numbers in parentheses are the number of snaps played last season as documented by PFF and reported by Geaux247.
• Updated to remove Mason Lunsford from RG.

Is it expected that Greg Brooks will be able to come back and play? I realize he probably remains on the roster, just wondering.

CJ Daniels was a great grab from the transfer portal, but did we really need another WR considering we're 5 scholarships over the limit?

I would like to see the Tigers nab a legitimate starter at DT from the transfer portal and have Jalen Lee backup Jacobian Guillory at NT.

From everything I’ve read, basically no chance.

Ibeata, Langlois, Allen, Hughes, brooks unfortunately unlikely to return, carpenter, prean if can't find home at wr or cb.

7 right there, room to add dt and cb or lb too

It was reported that Brooks said that he wants to come back next season, but the expectation is that such a rapid recovery of ambulatory capabilities would require supernatural intervention. But I don't like to remove players until there is some type of official statement from the team or from the player.

Nobody wants to be the guy who suggests that players should transfer out (it's uncouth), but logic implies that the players with zero snaps last season would be the most likely candidates.

If we are tight on schollys I'd assume since Ausberry gets a free ride with Dad employed by school that he could be a PWO

Along with Ausberry, I foresee maybe one or 2 of the starters becoming walk ons as they will be covered on the NIL side.

When the spring portal opens up, there will be some transfers out along with some coming in. It always works out.

We’re not over the limit until the fall so I figured the goal was to bring in competition & let it figure itself out, i.e. someone will jump in the portal on their own.

Looks like the decision has been made to play the young guys this year. Coach them up. Will help in recruiting. The offense is loaded but the D is very young.

Seeing Major Burns and Sage Ryan on there again, gives me the yips. I sure hope the new coaches coming in can coach them up to LSU standards.

I'd like to see Savion Jones bulk up just a bit and move inside to DT. Seems the kid has strength but lacks the twitch to play end, so maybe his future is there.

Then, Shand and Womack can man the "large" DE position opposite of Edge.

Of course if get 1-2 DTs via the Portal maybe he doesn't have to move, but he wasn't a game changer at end, so this would help depth and his future.

There are more restrictions on walk-ons than simply financing scholarships
