Slidell, I'm calling BS on no expectations. The senior OL, senior QB, good schedule... Yea, y'all were hoping for the weedeater bowl. I've never met a Bama fan that had rational expectations. Y'all are exactly in the spot you thought you'd be in, undefeated and number 1. I'll never believe otherwise.

ETA: Y'all were undefeated and in the hunt in 2005, before the almighty Saban, and I heard how y'all were back all damn day. Bama folds like a lawn chair at the end of every season, y'all are holding your breath right now. You hear the damn thing creaking.

Thats what everyone was saying last year.

Well, um, didn't they lose the remainder of their regular season games after they played LSU? That seems the epitome of impact.

Good schedule? With the exception of the barn, all of our tough games are road games this year. In the preseason, reasonable fans were anticipating losses to Clemson, Georgia, LSU, and probably Auburn.

both teams futures rely on this saturday

Ridiculous.

Alabama has had a successful year no matter how the remaining games play out. Losing to LSU this weekend (assuming it were to happen) is not going to change that.

LSU is an established top ten program, and one off year isn't going to change that. If we fail to address our problems in the defensive coaching staff this off season, then our program will be in trouble. This Saturday's outcome will have virtually no effect on the future of our program, good or bad.

I don't know what games you tards have been watching. LSU should not beat Bama. LSU has not been able to even stay on the same field with any of the teams that have equal talent. Bama is just as talented as LSU and should win this game easily. I don't get how LSU fans can even begin to talk shite when they have had their asses handed twice already this year. On top of that, one of the teams that whipped LSU's arse at home, got taken to the wood shed by Bama at their place. LSU fans need to just be quiet.

Y'all play LSU better at LSU. Not playing Florida, until Atlanta, is very advantageous. At Tenn and Georgia is tough, but overall it's not as bad as it could be.

Senior O line is HUGE in the SEC, senior QB even more.

I agree. But I hope my arse off that Saturday just isn't Bama's day. It can happen to a Saban lead Bama team just like it can hapen to us. All things being equal, they record a solid victory Saturday. I doubt we stop the big plays on the ground or through the air. Knowing our weaknesses, they'll just try over and over until they shake it loose.

Well, we have solid talent from our starting 22, but y'all have considerably more depth. We're developing some depth, but it's very young and raw.

Gaston is right about the OL and QB though. The stability at those positions has been huge for us this season.

Convenient that you missed Clemson, Western Kentucky, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee and Arkansas State.

Are you smoking something? If Bama loses it will be to a worthy opponent and they will press on. They will not lose to Miss Stake and the Barn.

11-2 and in the Sugar is more than acceptable.

Hmmm...lose the SECC and still make BCS? Doesn't really happen. But I do agree that they will be excited about the improvement should they end up losing 2 games.

Only way for this to happen is for Bama to go 12-0 and lose in the SECCG. They do that and I think they get the at large bid. It would be awesome to go to the Rose and play USC. Now, it is possible to make it to the Sugar for Bama if they win out, lose to Florida, and then Florida goes to the BCSCG. No way, imo, Bama goes to a BCS game if we lose prior to the SECCG unless we win the SEC.

I hope you just gave me my new signature quote. The one below is from an identical thread I created last year.

"But if Bama wins, it won't impact LSU at all right?"

According to some here two 50 point plus beatdowns don't matter nothing can stop them. I was told here long ago that Jimbo would be the downfall of the FSU offense. Somebody gave me a bum steer.

My contention still remains the heart of LSU days of lore is now at bama and FSU.

I have nothing against LSU but there are some juvenile delinquent posters here that live in a separate reality. I will give you a prediction Jimbo Fisher is going to win the ACC and LSU is going to be wishing they had listened to the faction that wanted him to be head coach at LSU.

Most sober bama fans said that7-5,8-4 would be about where we would to have a good year. I said we had a slim chance to have a 9-0 record going into LSU if we got enough breaks, and all the stars were lined up just rite.
If we get beat Sat. we will still have had a good run,and we move on down the road.
If LSU gets beat, well every body who is anybody in the national sports buisness will come down on CLM like a ton of bricks. It will be brutal. And you know what I say is true.
The truth is we win on Sat. and then run the table, and yes we can beat UF,(see old miss), how will you handle that?
