I'm a season ticket holder. Here is my analysis: You're going to need to play a better team than UNO on a Tuesday night to get me to drive there after work.

Which is why I stated "I know it's UNO".

But it all starts with the students and I realize this.

I'm going to the game friday so if you do the percentages we will have at least 3000 more fans in the arena. I just hope jerel plays.

It's such a dumb arse configuration.

The band and media section need to move for sure. I don't know why the band moved to begin with they were fine where they were.

Id like to hear LSUs defense on why they moved the configuration like that. it is just such a terrible idea. I dont know how clown alleva thought this would look ok and be productive.

It would get better if they moved the students back to where they used to be, courtside.

Its easty to understand why they moved the student section. Premium seating at $500/seat + season ticket costs brings in a lot more money than an empty student section. The band and press being there is probably just the lsu athletic department making a stupid decision without thinking it through. They tend to be lazy when it comes to anything dealing with basketball.

Some larger scale, bigger picture needs for the PMAC IMO:

1. Redesign/redo the outside of the PMAC, possibly removing the ramps. Make the PMAC fit into the personality of the campus more than it does now.

2. Lack of suites. I don't see a way this could be accomplished with the structure that is present now, however.

It's going to be tough to watch basketball this year for me.

The first three games have averaged 41 total fouls per game. So, more fouls than minutes played.

I feel like the entire season will be a transition season until it gets better next year.

you know in my day, if you didn't get in line 2 hrs before tipoff, you might not have gotten a seat in the student section
for the UK and Zona games in the 99-00 season, you had to sleep out to get a seat. those nights on the PMAC ramp were some of my most fun during my college years

and with regards to "7 nation army", I wish we wouldn't play it at all. we are unique down here, and our music choices should reflect that, instead of just doing what everyone else does

2) It starts with the Student Section. They have ONE thing that's choreographed and it's really sad.
Last night's game was so boring that I actually sat there and counted the number of students in the student section in the low seats at the end of the court. This was just before halftime.

I counted 63.

No kidding.

Were you at the game? Student attedance has been much better than expected for the first two home games. In the first game, the SS was packed and the second, still more than previous years.

2nd half was exciting. Anyone who doesn't get excited about Jordan Mickey needs to check their pulse

SS contains 8 sections. The lower one, 3 mid levels, and 4 upper levels...

Yeah anyone who has been going to most/all of the home games in the last 3-4 years would be blown away by the crowd last night. 7000+ is fricking great for the 2nd home game of the year on a Tuesday against a very weak UNO team.

which is a horrible setup and leads to people thinking only 60 students are going
