I'm not really worried about TCU, I'm worried about beating Vandy twice.

I'm hoping his heir is Bain because it fits the rhyme scheme. We shall call him Nolan Bain.

Honestly, our perceived strengths this year were hitting and pitching depth/bullpen. It's time to step up.

if it gets to a saturday - take all - not sure that vandy plans to pitch fulmer- they would need pitching for m, t, w - just like us
we have s deep staff - because of "wholestaff"

I went to sleep last night pretty optimistic. And then this morning

We can look at this is a Th/Fr/Sa series where LSU HAS to sweep, yet without our best starter.

Plus you never know what can hapen with rain delays, could knock starters out which would benefit us.

Not saying I don't have faith. Just saying the team to worry about is Vandy, not TCU. We've already played them and will certainly have the revenge factor working in our favor. Only reason that game was out of hand was because of errors. We field cleanly without big mistakes, and I see us winning by a couple runs.

Does he make the throws to first from the mound?

No chance Lange can throw in relief on Saturday?

Vandy will have Buehler (Fri) and Fulmer (Sat).

You really think that they will pitch Fulmer on Saturday even with the championship series starting on Monday? Then he may not even get to pitch in the Series.

That's one of the things I dislike about how the CWS is set up. They should have the championship series the following weekend so all the starting pitchers can be ready and both teams can throw their weekend starters for the series.

Also, it looks like Poche would get a chance to bounce back in the 1st game against Vandy.

Chance? I think so. Depends on our bullpen at that point though. Reynolds, Person, and Bain are going to have to eat up a ton of innings to give us a chance.
