Just read this USA Today article blasting us for the treatment of a legendary coach. Mostly for shamefully letting him twist in the wind.

ESPN is blasting us mercilessly. Yahoo, Fox Sports, anybody with a microphone or an Internet outlet is killing us.

I'm embarrassed. The more this goes on, I think it's time to take this to Alleva's door. He doesn't appear to have our best interests at heart. I think what has been holding us back more than anything Les did is Joe's treatment of Chief, his inability financially support and manage coordinator hires, and his lack of foresight to how doing what he's doing right now would play out.

I'm pretty disappointed in him. It's starting to look to me that we could go a lot farther with a less shitty AD.

You're foolish if you think Alleva is anything more than a figure head. Some big money boosters are behind all of this and Alleva is following suit. It'll all be over in a couple days.

Bama took a huge hit when they fired Mike Shula, the favorite son so to speak. That did not last long. This too shall pass.

Gameday and SEC Nation is about to rip us apart in a couple of hours. Especially Marcus Spears surprisingly against the letting go of Miles

Les is at fault as well. He could comment that his focus is on the next game and will address the rumors at the end of the season.
If LSU fires Les he has played the sympathy card to perfection. He will be in prime position to land another top coaching gig.

Who cares? Same media who has year in and year out made fun of him. Get a new coach and win. Frick everything else.

Miles is being treated no kind of way. Where is this bullshite coming from?

Yeah this is all just this weeks story. Will be forgotten in a week or so. Zero long term damage to the brand

They are all just protecting their jobs. Les provides an instant story each week. Tons of talent but can't win big games, then says something ignorant as hell. It's an easy headline for them, so of course they want him to stay.

I understand what they are saying, but it is time to move on.

We should just abandon the brand then. Maybe we could buy a different brand name? Tulane?

he has a golden parachute. Aka 15 mil. Coaches are hired to be fired and I think Les knows that.

As it should. Very callous way to handle such a situation.
