Jabbar would have to have the hookshot working.

He didn't really fully develop the hook until he became a pro.

Besides Iverson, all of those guys are pretty big. You have to have a couple of guards in the starting five.

Could any other school put together an all-time starting five like this, maybe besides North Carolina, Duke, or UCLA?

That's prett good. I'd throw Georgetown in the mix though.

Aside from Rudy's team, what you are showing is a bunch of individuals that were good. I would put alot of NC TEAMS against them and win.

Besides Iverson, you could choose from Reggie Williams, jaron Jackson, Mark Tillmon, Dwayne Bryant and another just like Williams that I cannot think of.

Gotta disagree here...Jordan may have BEEN another Maravich if it wasn't for Dean Smith. And that's not to criticize Dean Smith...but he just didn't allow the type of play that allowed Pete to do what he did.

I'd throw Gail Goodrich in the UCLA mix.

I see what you're saying, but Jordan couldn't shoot nearly as good as Maravich. And I just don't see him putting up 40 a game even if he played like Maravich.

Yeah, it's pretty amazing when you think about the players that have run through there. While most schools can pick their 5 fairly quickly, UCLA could field about a 3 deep roster.
