Was kind of surprised we only rank third on loudest recorded stadiums. Any chance we ever beat it? Maybe this weekend?

How many times do we go over this. We create a SUSTAINED noise unlike anything else in college football.

Laugh all you want, but it is not the same as it once was. The constant piped in music deserves most of the blame.

While it is respectable, it is no way louder than TS.

It's true, people rather flash the led rather than clap and scream. Boo's are dumb, Tiger Bait should be the norm. It could get loud. *cough* Students *cough* could not leave at half would help. The booze will be there after the game.

Depends greatly on where the measurements take place. On the field? In the stands?

I had this conversation with Jay Barker who said he had been to Tiger Stadium to watch a game and thought the noise factor was highly over-rated. He then played at Tiger Stadium and said on the field, he literally felt like the noise was going to crush him.

Any of you fricks questioning the atmosphere in TS, pony up the dough and buy a ticket for this weekend. Come taste that magic first hand.

They definitely get help from the overhangs over the stands.

I question it. I have season tickets. The stadium will be loud this weekend, Buuut, to hold a reputation, the stadium should stay loud for at least all the SEC games. Not just the Bama game.
