be tough to find anywhere in oxford this late in the year, as it is a very small town. when I go, I typically stay at a Hampton inn near the convention center...it is basically new and reasonably priced.

if you tell me which direction you will be coming from, I can tell you some places an hour or so away that will be within driving distance but may have some vacancy...

Good luck. Went to the 2011game and had to stay over an hour away. I wouldn't go unless you've never been. Oxford is over priced and over rated.

The Grove is the most overrated experience in college football. A bunch of grown men comparing outfits and bitching about how society won't let them keep their racist traditions.

Don't listen to these clowns.
Oxford is great.
Square is awesome. I've been the past 8 or 9 times.
Reason they hate it is they prob wore toonces gear and crocs And felt out of place. Fine with me though, those lsu fans are an embarrassment anyways.

I'd stay in Grenada or Memphis.
Batesville has couple hotels too.
Jackson is couple hours away if you headed back south.
We rented a 5 bedroom house this summer in downtown Oxford for the game.

This late in the game, the only place that will have hotel rooms is Memphis.

I make my reservations 50 weeks in advance, particularly for the small towns that have few hotels.

Please clarify the proper attire while visiting Oxford for the less refined LSU fan.
