My fave Hawpe homer has to be the one in Omaha where he planted the bat in the ground immediately after crushing it.

One in the Old Box that isn't mentioned is one hit by a guy from Texas Southern in the 2008 regionals. I want to say 1st inning or so of the opening game. Absolute missile over left field.

Either Ricky Joe Redd's (Miss St 92/93?) that landed on top of the building in LF, or one Wes Davis hit to CF that never landed. Both Hawpe and TW had long ones to RF as well...

Props. Wes Davis's bomb is now a satellite of the Earth. It was the highlight of his career.

I was at the game when Lyle Mouton hit it over the apartments. I was probably 10 or 11 and remember watching that ball fly and never seeing it land. I'll never forget that hit. Lyle is one of my all time favorite Tigers and made a big impression on me as a young kid.
