Syracuse has Dungy and a freshman who are both better than Scott.

Yeah its a complete stretch that a juco guy posting big numbers could go to a UL Lafayette or a LA Tech and find some success. Christ. You act like I said he's the next Lamar Jackson and he's going to start for Alabama.

Newsflash: He was recruited by those same types of DI schools out of high school. He transferred to EMCC and about 2 weeks later he's their starter and is posting big numbers. He was already recruited...he's now succeeding at a higher level than when he was recruited out of HS. It's not rocket science. He'll get another chance at a DI school.

Ok. Lol. fricking Canada is clueless.

It is like hurts at Alabama playing against grambling, surrounded by Alabama talent. Doesn't mean a lot.

I have no idea what you're rambling about. He wasn't good enough to play at LSU. That's why he's not around anymore. I never claimed he should have been our starter. I do think he can be good enough to play at a Sun Belt or CUSA type school. Rinse the sand out of your vag.

Yeah I don't see why he won't get looks at a Tulane/ULL/ULM/Southern Miss

tech or Baylor.
The last two high profile QBs at EMCC, both of whom were much more highly recruited than Scott, are now at FAU and y'all think he's going to a p5 school?

Uhhhh... one left emcc and went to auburn 1st. Pac12, b12?

You do realize that maryland, wake forest and Rutgers are P5. They all offered in out of high school. Maryland lost its 5'10 starter for the season this past week

He's at the least proving he can play somewhere at thr D1 level. Hopefully somebody goes after him. Any one of the non LSU Louisiana schools could use him, maybe a lower end P5 school like Syracuse goes after him again

I think he picked these offers up before he enrolled at EMCC

He'd actually fit Louisiana Tech's system wonderfully.

Hope you are kidding. All QBs light it up there...few pan out in d1. Didn't auburn get a kid last year, for a minute? It is funny how you guys compare his results to big-time d1 ball. Hey, I wish him the best, but some of y'all aren't bright.

The stat i care the most about when come to QBs is wins. 5A State Champ from a non traditional football school (zachary). If he wins a National Championship in JUCO, this simply adds to that resume. MY NEXT questions

Leader?
Intelligent?
Can he make the throws?

Threw it 41x last week. Sounds like he will have an opportunity to answer those questions.

When did the freshman (who hasn't played) prove that.

Kid lit the spring up here with TDs to drake and Sullivan. Was dynamic. We dont want to admit it, but it's true. We are LSU, a perennial college power. We are not going to have 6'4 pocket passers sitting on the bench, watching a 5'11 dual threat. With our talent, and Matt Canada, we would win either way. All things being equal (or close), most people (including me) would go with the taller guy. But, i dont at all question this kids ability to play on this level.

Blake Simms (5'11) signed at bama. Moved to RB. Then started at QB as 5th yr senior. Set the school record for passing yard, and won the SEC. Scott apparently decided that he was not going to be Blake Sims.
